Hello, my name is Debbie Perrins and I am a self employed PAT tester. I also work in Health and Safety. I am self employed and offer a very friendly and flexible PAT testing service which aims to accommodate your needs what ever they may be. I work with a variety of customers which include small hairrdressing and beauty salons, hotels, restaurants, shops and general industrial sites.
I aim to provide good quality PAT testing of all types of appliances tailored to the needs of your business. Being self employed means I can test your appliances at at time to suit your business. During 'normal' working hours is always convienient so I can work when your employees aren't! My PAT testing services will ensure that you meet your legal requirements with the following:
Electricity at Work Act 1989
This requires you to 'implement a program of planned inspection and testing of portable appliances in order to prevent danger' and that 'all systems shall be maintained so as to prevent so far as is reasonably practicable'.
Provisions & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1992
Every employer shall ensure that work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair.
Provisions & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
Every employer shall ensure that the result of an inspection made under this regulation is recorded and kept until the next inspection under this regulations is recorded.
